This page contains information about installing the latest Saitek Keyboard driver downloads using the Saitek Driver Update Tool.

Saitek Keyboard drivers are tiny programs that enable your Keyboard hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Maintaining updated Saitek Keyboard software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. Using outdated or corrupt Saitek Keyboard drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Furthermore, installing the wrong Saitek drivers can make these problems even worse.

Recommendation: If you are inexperienced with updating Saitek device drivers manually, we highly recommend downloading the Saitek Keyboard Driver Utility. This tool will download and update the correct Saitek Keyboard driver versions automatically, protecting you against installing the wrong Keyboard drivers.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

  1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

  2. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

  3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists

I hope this helps you. If you have any further query in future, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

Hi.

Their website doesn't have any drivers for the keyboard anymore, so can't even try to do that.

I will email them and ask if they have the old ones still, but failing that do you have any ideas?

I'm also trying to do a clean install of Windows 10 on a new hard drive, but it just hangs on the initial windows 10 splash screen logo before the install begins, any ideas?

I will try doing it from dvd rather than usb, unless you have a different potential solution?

Thanks.

I've now done the clean install via a dvd and it worked fine, so seemed to be doing it from usb that was causing the problem.

On initial startup the keyboard also worked, but once I plugged my old HDD back in to copy files from, it stopped again.

I'm hoping that once I've copied all the files and formatted the old HDD, the keyboard will work again.

Do you have any other potential solutions should it not work, or have any idea why it would stop when my old HDD is plugged in?

Thanks.

I am having the same problem with my Saitek Eclipse 3. However I have the driver exe file saved on my computer but I cannot get it to install. I have tried changing the compatibility setting but every time I run the file it wont work. It will start to install but then it will ask me to plug in the controllers I want to update but it wont let me click next even when I have the keyboard plugged in. If you would like I could possibly upload the driver file and you could try it. I will try some other things but as of now I don't have it working.

Hi Sodak,

Thank you for responding.

I understand the inconvenience caused to you with access the Saitek Eclipse III keyboard as it doesn't have drivers for Windows 10.

I would like to inform that the device manufacturer has to release the drivers for latest version of Windows Operating System.

I suggest you to contact the device manufacturer's support for better assistance.

As a workaround you can try to install the latest drivers for the device in compatible mode on Windows 10 and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

  1. Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  2. Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
  3. Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  4. Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click OK.
  5. Try installing the driver and check.

Hope it helps. Feel free to contact us for any further assistance on Windows Operating System. We will be happy to help you.

This is a Microsoft issue as the drivers worked for all versions of MS Windows and just stopped working after the new Win 10 update....Microsoft, Please fix!!!! This not an issue with drivers as it is an issue with you wanting to spy on people and uninstall software, and not let software and drivers do what they are intended to do!!!! FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

Why is it a Microsoft issue if they're not the ones who designed the product? It's like saying it's your ISP's issue if your phone cannot connect to Wi-fi. I have the same issue you're experiencing, but I realize that the company, Saitek, has stopped making updates and drivers for this line of keyboards, probably in a marketing scheme to sell more new keyboards. Stop blaming an operating system that has nothing to do with this third party keyboard
